Allentown: Philosophical Publishing, 1907. End papers toned with a piece of tape on a couple end papers; Vol I has a light stain to the top edge of the last 120 pages which mildly appears on the surface; Vol IV has a stain to the cover; Otherwise an excellent set. Item #28815
Four volumes in brown cloth with gilt titles and emblem on front cover; 7.75" x 5.5"; pp. Vol I: 266, Vol II: 230 plus (ads), Vol III: 243, [6} (ads), Vol IV: 214, (ads); Vol IV has photo portrait, we assume of the authoir, with a facing tissue; Page fore and foot edges are untrimmed; I consider these a later printing based on that we have seen a version in the a slightly smaller binding with the emblem on the cover the same as that on the title page, also with this edition the copyright note does not appear and the emblem on the title verso is poorer resolution; Still, all editions are very uncommon.
