Edges quite worn and scratched; A number of pages in the first 150 with pencil marginalia, otherwise contents very clean; Last text page and ads page have a tear and a couple small pieces missing.
Author was editor of Truth Seeker magazine. In the preface he writes that he had earlier taken a trip around Europe and written letters home to the magazine which were later published as a book, A Truth Seeker in Europe. Someone then proposed that he should do the same on a similar trip arund the world and offered to help fund his expenses. Reportedly, several hundred individuals areeg to participate in the funding (see list of Contributors mentioned in above).
