The first disc (113 minutes) is an extensive biography of Schuon, who was not only a prolific author of prose, but also a poet and a painter. Schuon's remarkable spiritual and geographical journeys, and his many encounters with notable spiritual authorities of numerous traditions are described, and are illustrated with beautiful photos, many from Frithjof Schuon's private collection. The narrative is accompanied by beautiful musical compositions which were among Schuon's favorites. The production also features Schuon's paintings and poetry. The Special Features section, on the second disc, includes a 40-minute overview of his writings as well as 30 minutes of additional interviews with Frithjof Schuon himself made during his final years. Other interviews with people who knew Schuon or his work are also found throughout the 2 discs.
