Typed letter on plain paper from "Diogenes" explaining, in part, that it is necessary to "preserve my anonymity;", dated 4th may, 1950 to 'Mr. Rubinstein' (Harold L. Rubinstein (1891-1975) - Barrister and playwright. We know he, and his son Michael, were later in Murice Nicoll's Gurdjieff groups. We are not familiar with his earlier association with Gurdjieff or Ouspensky. Diogenes was the pen-name of someone who wrote periodic articles and book reviews related to the Gurdjieff Work (see the small book, Diogenes in Time and Tide').
